Tasting Notes:		Produced with passion and dedication, CMG is the fruit of a dynasty: the Count Matuschka de Greiffenclau family has been making fine wine for 28 generations. From this family-owned estate nestled between the renowned terroir of Archiac and St. Eugène, this single vineyard CMG Cognac is made entirely from the vineyard's 2000 vintage, carefully crafted to achieve true individuality and superlative quality. This elegant cognac is a smooth after-dinner digestif. CMG also pairs wonderfully with fois gras.
The Château:		For 800 years and 28 generations, the Count's family has earned a reputation of making great wines. Its private estate or "Domaine Privé" is situated between Bordeaux and Cognac with a unique terroir of Archiac, rich with minerals. The estate's ancestral savoir-faire combined with carefully considered traditional production methods gives the cognac a distinct and bold character. This handcrafted cognac has for years been monopolized by the local population - finally making its debut in the United States as one of the premier cognacs.
Technical Data: Varietals:   70% Ugni Blanc, 30% Colombard. Appellation:   Petite Fine Champagne Controlée. Aging:   Maturation in individually selected casks of Limousin oak.
