MGI Collection is pleased to announce its exclusive appointment as agent and advisor in the US by Markus Comte Matuschka de Greiffenclau. The very embodiment of his Greiffenclau family virtues, the charismatic Count represents the 28th generation in this legendary family. CMG cognac, his signature product, has long been enjoyed in Europe and Japan, though is only now being introduced to the US market through MGI Collection.

Tasting Notes:       From the most renowned terroir in Cognac, comes a hand-crafted, 100% estate-grown cognac - After maturation in individually selected casks of Limousin oak and acquiring a warm light brown hue, the fine and rare character of the cognac is revealed in the glass. A melange of fruits, flowers and the heat of the terroir will be explored by the connoisseur.

The Château:       For 800 years and 28 generations, the Count's family has earned a reputation of making great wines. Its private estate or "Domaine Prive" is situated between Bordeaux and Cognac with a unique terroir of Archiac, rich with minerals. The estate's ancestral savoir-faire combined with carefully considered traditional production methods gives the cognac a distinct and bold character. This handcrafted cognac has for years been monopolized by the local population - finally making its debut in the United States as one of the premier cognacs.
